Welcome to the Simple English Wikibooks!
If you want to meet and talk with other members, you can visit the Simple English Wikibooks Simple talk. Just remember that you should sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words. It is a good idea to look at the rules before you make many changes.
Table of contents template
I don't remember if the other books are the same, but in the English wikibook, there are two links to go back to the table of contents on every page, one because we use Book/Page, the other in the header template for the book. I added another mention of a return to the table of contents in the text at the end as an option, but when it is made into a template it is just too much, I think. I would prefer it reverted to text or removed entirely. But thank you for being a part of us and please stay. In the places that we keep your template, let's change the direction of the arrow. "Back" in English-speaking countries is generally thought of as "to the left," as if it were a physical book. Thanks! --Cromwellt|talk|contribs 08:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
I am very hesitant to just approve admin rights for whomever requests them. I'd rather wait a few months and see how you do, how much you edit, etc. On Simple English Wikipedia, they have a semi-official requirement of 3 months and 1000 edits. We may not have to use the same numbers, but it does seem like a good ballpark. I'm glad that you are excited about the project. Keep doing good work, and request admin rights again in a few months, after you've developed a track record, okay? Also, the things you want to do for this project that you mentioned on Meta you can do as a regular user. If there are currently things you want to see changed that only admins can do (such as system messages, page deletions/protections, etc.), all you have to do is ask me to do it. If you can't reach me here on my talk page, try either my talk page on another project like SEWikt or emailing me. I tend to check my email about every day. See you around! --Cromwellt|talk|contribs 08:55, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
